What is an Ultrasound Scan?

Ultrasound scans allow real-time, fast diagnoses of patient injuries, enabling the practitioner and patient to view injuries to tendons, ligaments, and muscles, on-screen during the appointment.

Ultrasound scans means that treatment can be specifically targeted to individual problems allowing a more effective rehabilitation process.

Ultrasound is also very safe as there is no radiation, unlike X-ray and CT scans.

If you are unsure whether you require an ultrasound scan please contact the clinic for a free phone consultation to discuss your injury.

We are always happy to help direct you towards the best pathway for you.
